Some weddings feel like a grand production, while others feel like a warm embrace. Rachel & CJ’s wedding at St. Helena’s Chapel in Lenox, MA was the perfect blend of joy, heartfelt moments, and an incredible soundtrack that kept guests entertained from start to finish.
A Meaningful Ceremony in a Stunning Setting 💍✨
Rachel and CJ exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony next to St. Helena’s Chapel, surrounded by family, friends, and the peaceful beauty of nature. Their wedding day was filled with thoughtful traditions, including a Scottish tartan passing during the blessing—an elegant nod to their heritage.
With readings by loved ones and officiants William Cogswell, Ashley Meczywor, and Ryan Meczywor leading the ceremony, every moment felt deeply personal and reflective of Rachel & CJ’s love story.
Cocktail Hour & Dinner: A Perfect Summer Celebration 🍹🎶
Guests moved from the ceremony to the reception tent, where a carefully curated mix of pop and jazz set the mood for cocktail hour. Think Michael Bublé-style crooners mixed with upbeat folk influences like Mumford & Sons and Dave Matthews Band—a soundtrack that perfectly matched the relaxed yet sophisticated vibe of the evening.
Dinner was a family-style feast under the tent, catered by Marketplace Café, while guests enjoyed soft background music and lively conversation.
Grand Entrances & A First Dance to Remember 🎭💃
The couple made their way into the reception after an introduction of their closest friends and family:
• Maids of Honor: Jillian & Sarah entered to Dancing Queen by ABBA
• Best People: Woody & Noah entered to My Type by Saint Motel
• The Newlyweds: CJ & Rachel made their grand entrance to Dance by Tim Halperin 🎶
Their first dance to “Not With Haste” by Mumford & Sons was a moment of pure magic, setting the tone for an evening full of music, laughter, and high-energy fun.
A Dance Floor Full of Energy & Surprises 🎶🔥
Rachel & CJ knew they wanted their wedding to end on a high note—and they delivered!
A highlight of the night was the father-daughter dance, where Rachel and her dad performed a line dance compilation—a unique and energetic twist that had guests cheering and clapping along.
CJ & his mother shared a touching dance to “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)” by Dave Matthews Band, with a special custom edit to fit the perfect moments.
From Adele, The Black Keys, and Dispatch to classic 80s, 90s, and 2000s hits, the dance floor was packed all night long. And of course, one must-play moment? The Mother of the Bride’s special request—“I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas!
An Unforgettable Ending 🎇
Rachel & CJ wanted their final dance to be “something upbeat”, ensuring the night ended with a bang. And it absolutely did! As the final notes played, friends and family surrounded them, dancing and celebrating a wedding that was as fun-loving and heartfelt as the couple themselves.
