Some wedding days come with a little added drama—and in Amy & Steven’s case, it was a race against the rain! With an outdoor ceremony at The Pines Theater that had everyone nervously watching the skies, the weather held off just long enough to complete their vows before the celebration moved under the cocktail tent just as the rain started to fall. A wet speaker? Maybe. But thankfully, the guests stayed dry, and the party only got bigger from there!

A Beautiful Ceremony Just in Time ☁️💍

Amy & Steven’s ceremony at The Pines Theater in Look Park was an absolute dream, with towering trees and an intimate, natural setting. Guests arrived to the soft sounds of a live violinist playing prelude music before the wedding party made their entrance to:

🎻 Seating of the Parents & Wedding Party Processional: Alone – Trampled by Turtles (Violin + DJ Mix)

🎻 Bride’s Processional: Can’t Help Falling in Love – Brooklyn Duo (Violin + DJ)

After heartfelt vows and a meaningful unity ceremony set to “Oceans” by Hillsong United, Amy & Steven made their joyful exit as newlyweds to “You Make My Dreams (Come True)” by Hall & Oates.

Cocktail Hour: A Close Call with the Rain 🌧️🍸

As guests made their way to the cocktail tent, the rain finally started to fall—but thankfully, everyone was already under cover! With a mix of modern feel-good pop and country, the violinist kept the atmosphere warm and inviting while guests mingled and enjoyed drinks.

Grand Entrance & A Classic First Dance 🎶💃

Once it was time to kick off the reception, the wedding party made their grand entrance to:

🎶 Wedding Party Intro: This is How We Do It – Montell Jordan

🎶 Bride & Groom Intro: Chicago Bulls Theme Song → Crazy in Love – Beyoncé & Jay-Z

With an exciting sports-style introduction, the crowd erupted in cheers as Amy & Steven entered as Mr. & Mrs. Wuller!

Their first dance to “Put Your Head on My Shoulder” by Paul Anka was a beautifully classic moment, setting the perfect tone for an elegant yet fun-filled night.

Dinner, Toasts & Family Traditions 🥂

Dinner at The Garden House was cozy, romantic, and full of love. The newlyweds were honored with heartfelt toasts from the Maid & Matron of Honor, Best Men, and both fathers, creating a night filled with emotional and unforgettable moments.

Dance Floor Mayhem & The Glowstick Moment 🕺🎉

The dance floor opened with “We Are Family” and never slowed down! With a mix of classic wedding hits, pop throwbacks, and must-play favorites, Amy & Steven made sure everyone had a song to dance to.

🔥 Some of the biggest dance floor moments included:

September – Earth, Wind & Fire (because… duh!)

All the Small Things – Blink 182

Twist and Shout – The Beatles

Shout – The Isley Brothers

Time of My Life – Dirty Dancing Soundtrack

Electric Feel – MGMT

Mr. Big – To Be With You (a last-minute request that was a hit!)

And then, one of the coolest moments of the night—the glowstick dance! During “Be Right Now” by Ed Sheeran, guests were handed glowsticks to light up the dance floor, creating an epic visual that felt straight out of a music festival!

The Perfect Send-Off 🎇

To wrap up an unforgettable night, Amy & Steven’s last dance was “Quarter Past Midnight” by Bastille, before one final encore with “Closing Time” by Semisonic—a perfect way to end the celebration on a high note!
