Weddings at the Lake House always hit different—but Will & Bryn’s celebration? This one felt like something out of a movie.

From a sunlit lakeside ceremony to an epic afterparty in the lodge, the day had that kind of cinematic flow where every scene levels up the one before it. And their guests? Fully committed. They brought energy, heart, and a lot of ABBA singalongs.

🌿 Ceremony on the Water

Their ceremony kicked off with ethereal Florence + the Machine instrumentals and a moving entrance to “Dawn” from Pride & Prejudice. Officiated by Meghan Rothschild, it was tender, personal, and completely true to their vibe. When they walked back down the aisle to “Hands Down” by The Greeting Committee, you could feel the excitement crackling.

💃 A First Dance Mashup Worthy of a Soundtrack

🍷 Dinner, Toasts & Sweet Moments

A blessing from Stephen Walker, followed by toasts from Maeve and Gracyn Rothschild-Shea and Doug Hiban, kept the heartfelt energy going. Their dinner playlist was intimate and romantic—the calm before the party storm.

🎉 Dance Floor Energy: ABBA > Everything

The dancing kicked off with a bang—and it never let up. With the exception of one allowed line dance (“Jump On It”), the night was a perfectly curated mix of nostalgic anthems, indie bangers, and disco chaos. You could tell ABBA was in their DNA—from “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” to “Dancing Queen,” every track turned into a full-blown group performance.

Their last dance, “Flightless Bird, American Mouth” by Iron & Wine, sent them off into a private lodge moment while guests transitioned to the afterparty.

It was poetic.
