Date:Ā November 4, 2023

Venue:Ā Salem Cross Inn, West Brookfield, MA

Guest Count:Ā ~150–160

Peak Vibes:Ā Jonas Brothers and Fall Out Boy on full blast.

If there were ever a couple whose wedding playlist told their love story, Savana & DevinĀ nailed it. Their celebration at Salem Cross InnĀ had everything you’d want in a cozy New England fall wedding: golden hour vibes, romantic string covers, and a dance floor that turned into a pop-punk dream by nightfall.

And yes—we played Year 3000.

šŸ‚ Ceremony to Sunset

Their day kicked off with elegant Vitamin String arrangements for the ceremony and cocktail hour, including:

  • šŸŽ» ā€œGrowing Old With Youā€ by Restless RoadĀ as the processional

  • šŸŽ» ā€œYouā€ by Dan + ShayĀ as the couple’s recessional

As the sun dipped behind the West Brookfield hills around 5:40 p.m., dinner was soundtracked by more romantic pop and oldies string covers—setting the perfect candlelit tone.

šŸ’• First Dance & Sweet Surprises

Savana & Devin’s first dance to ā€œPrayed for Youā€ by Matt StellĀ hit all the right emotional notes, and the surprises didn’t stop there. Toasts and special dances were packed with heart, including:

  • šŸ‘° Father/Daughter: ā€œYou’ll Always Be My Babyā€ – Alan Jackson

  • 🤵 Mother/Son: ā€œMommasā€ – Swon Brothers

  • šŸ‘©ā€šŸ‘§ Mother/Daughter: ā€œWhen God Made You My Motherā€ – Riley Roth

The energy was intimate, warm, and soĀ personal.

šŸ”„ Dance Floor Highlights

Forget line dances—Savana & Devin made it clear: no rap, no heavy swearing, and absolutely no Cha Cha Slide.Ā Instead, their must-play list had a perfect mix of early 2000s nostalgia and high-energy pop.

Here’s a taste of what got the party going:

  • ā€œParty in the USAā€ – Miley Cyrus

  • ā€œBurnin’ Upā€ – Jonas Brothers

  • ā€œYeah!ā€ – Usher

  • ā€œFeel So Closeā€ – Calvin Harris

  • ā€œMr. Brightsideā€ – The Killers

  • ā€œLove Storyā€ – Taylor Swift

  • ā€œAll the Small Thingsā€ – Blink-182

  • ā€œThnks fr th Mmrsā€ – Fall Out Boy

  • ā€œTik Tokā€ – Kesha

  • ā€œDon’t Stop the Musicā€ – Rihanna

Every song had the dance floor screaming lyrics backĀ like it was 2010.

✨ Last Dance

To close it all out, they chose the timeless ballad ā€œI’ll Beā€ by Edwin McCain—a perfect wind-down moment after a full night of singing, dancing, and unapologetic fun.

šŸ’¬ Final Thoughts

Savana & Devin’s wedding proves that when you build your soundtrack around your actual favorite songs, the result is unforgettable. No filler. No outdated wedding fluff. Just a party that reflects you.

If you’re planning a wedding that’s more Jonas Brothers than jazz quartet—this is your inspo.
