Date: September 29, 2024

Venue: The Barn at Villa Venezia

Guest Count: ~130

Special Moment: A full-scale fireworks show mid-reception. Yes, really.

There are wedding surprises… and then there’s Andrea & Alexander’s wedding.

Set against the rustic-meets-modern backdrop of The Barn at Villa Venezia, this day had it all: heartfelt vows, perfect playlists, and a dance floor that never quit. But what made this one truly unforgettable? A jaw-dropping fireworks show in the middle of the night that lit up the entire sky—and the faces of 130 shocked and cheering guests.

💍 Ceremony Moments

The ceremony kicked off with a cinematic piano cover of “You Had Me At Hello” by A Day to Remember, followed by Andrea’s stunning entrance to “A Thousand Years” by The Piano Guys. Three heartfelt readings added even more personal depth before the couple sealed it all with Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” as their joyful exit song.

🥂 Reception Highlights

From cocktail hour to the last sparkler, the day was a masterclass in pacing and party energy. Their first dance to “L-O-V-E” by Nat King Cole was a timeless, joyful start to the reception—and the energy only grew from there.

Speeches by Joseph, Brooke, and Ben brought the house down with equal parts laughs and love. Then, after dinner, it happened…

🎇 FIREWORKS. REAL ONES.

At around 6:45 p.m., the crowd was escorted outside—and just like that, the sky exploded in color. Set to the soaring vocals of “Happily Ever After” by Jordan Fisher & Angie Ke, the display turned an already amazing night into a total fairytale moment. Not a dry eye (or empty phone storage) in the crowd.

🕺 A Dance Floor That Never Cooled Off

Their playlist was a nonstop mix of bangers and crowd favorites—no cringe wedding songs allowed. The “Do Not Play” list was clear: no Cotton Eye Joe, YMCA, or overplayed line dances. What we played instead?

  • 🎶 “Danza Kuduro” – Don Omar

  • 🎶 “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” – Whitney Houston

  • 🎶 “Party Rock Anthem” – LMFAO

  • 🎶 “Don’t Stop Me Now” – Queen

  • 🎶 “What You Know” – Two Door Cinema Club

  • 🎶 “Teenage Dream” – Katy Perry

  • 🎶 “Zumba” – Don Omar

Oh—and LED glowsticks? Fully deployed. Every beat hit harder with that glowing dance floor energy.

✨ Sparkler Sendoff

Around 8:50 p.m., guests lined up with sparklers in hand while “Happily Ever After” played again for one final, goosebump-filled moment. It was the perfect sendoff to a night built on surprise, joy, and full-sensory celebration.
